Our consultancy services are normally charged out at a pre agreed hourly rate. We will, on request, give the client an estimate of the time their specification is likely to take to fulfil, but this can only ever be an estimate. It is not possible to absolutely guarantee to complete the remit within an estimated timescale as progress can be affected by unknown and outside influences or circumstances beyond our control. We will always use our best endeavours however and always optimise the use of our time by using the most effective and efficiient methods available to us. If we do need more time or consider a different approach to be more effective as things evolve, we will always refer back to the client before incurring any further costs and again will do our utmost to obtain the best results we can within the agreed time allocation. We do on occasion agree a set fee for a project and in this instance that fee will be agreed in writing and the project will be completed without further cost even if we have to go over estimated time allowed. However if it is not possible to deliver the results within the time estimated we will give the client the option of continuing if they wish or of terminating the agreement if the customer wishes to consider changing direction or other options. We cannot take responsibility for loss or inconvenience experienced by the client if we are unable to finish the project within the estimated timescale so we strongly advise clients to always allow more time than they expect to need to avoid any repercussions or adverse consequences of missing any deadlines.

SPECIAL DIETS DIRECTORY ADVERTISER (OR SUBSCRIBER) TERMS OF BUSINESS
By requesting, creating or submitting a listing advertisement, feature or webpage or entry of any kind you will have been deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.
Your advertisement will go live when your payment has cleared. If there is significant delay in initial payment Special Diets Directory may at its discretion avoid delay of your initial subscription date meaning a shorter subscription period.
Any additional upgrade services purchased after the activation date, will be charged at the initial pro rata fee (except for one off extras such as ‘News Articles’ and ‘Featured’ facilities which are non refundable). Thereafter the subscription will renew on the anniversary of your initial purchase, this being the agreed renewal date for all my Special Diet Directory subscriptions.
Under the terms of The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act we retain the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at the rate of 8% above base rate.
We may also at our discretion disable your advertisement until such time cleared initial or renewal payment for is received and no refund or credit will be made against your account in this event
RESTRICTIONS
You acknowledge that this License is personal to you and neither this Licence nor the Service may be transferred, sub-licensed or otherwise assigned. Any export of the Service is subject to the requirements and restrictions of applicable laws and regulations. You may configure the Service for your own use provided it is in support of your Authorised Use.
RENEWAL AND CANCELLATION
When you become al subscriber to your chosen Special Diets Directory service it will be an automatically renewable subscription. Your annual subscription will continue thereafter for further such annual periods until we receive your request to terminate in writing, this to be effective as from the end of the annual subscription period then in progress (The period of your subscription is as was offered on the date you created your advertisement or promotion - normally annual but with exceptions such as ‘Line Listings’ and Competition/Free Sample Listings)
Cancellations should be submitted at least 2 weeks before the renewal date. If we do not receive your cancellation notification before the renewal date, any days your advertisement remains active over and into a new subscription period will be charged on a pro rata basis (including extras and upgrades) with a minimum of the equivalent of one months subscription being due for any late cancellations.
No responsibility can be accepted for cancellations lost or delayed in the post. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
Should you cancel during a subscription year no refund will be applicable.
Should your subscription continue and your credit/debit card or original method of payment is no longer valid you will be issued with an invoice which is payable prior to the renewal date. The above late payments may be applied if alternative methods of payment are not provided,
WARRANTIES
Special Diets Directory disclaim all other conditions or warranties express or implied, statutory or otherwise which are hereby expressly excluded to the extent permitted by law. For the avoidance of doubt, Special Diets Directory does not warrant the quality or accuracy of any information or documentation resulting from or transmitted using the Service. There is no warranty by Special Diets Directory or any other party or person that the functions contained in the Service will meet your requirement or that the operation of the Service will be uninterrupted or error free. Posting and Packaging is the advertisers sole responsibility
Each producer will use their own tried and tested packaging and delivery methods to compliment the product.

Any postal charge information will also be shown under each product.
Posting multiple items will sometimes affect postal costs advertised (if postage not included) and any variation from the information shown must be made clear to the customer.
Of replacement of goods is required addtional postage and packaging costs need to be agreed between supplier and customer.
Delivery
Special Diets Directory does not become involved with delivery issues.
Individual producers will despatch their element of the order directly to the delivery address(es).
Orders should be processed and despatched within 3 working days of cleared payment (subject to availablity).
If an item is not in stock or there is likely to be a delay (such as to prepare a special order etc.)the customer must be contacted within 3 working days with an estimated delivery date or to discuss alternative options.
If a customer wishes their order to be despatched by a method other thanyour standard carriage or have any special requests regarding delivery (e.g; to leave with neighbour/ in shed etc) please advise customer that will do your best to accommodate their preferences but cannot take responsibilty for undeliverable orders or delivery problems resulting from deviation from the the standard procedure.
Please bear in mind that most postal & courier services will need a signature and that any perishable produce will need to be refridgerated or frozen as soon as it is received so please ensure that the customer is aware of this to avoid any chance of your being held liable for undeliverable orders or deterioration from delayed refridgation/freezing.

Special Diets Directory will accept payment on your behalf. The balance net of commission will be forwarded to you promptly by your preferred method

Any refunds should be made by the supplier to the customer directly and any commission will not be refunded by Special Diets Directory unless it can be proved that Special Diets Directory were solely at fault in creating the need for a refund.
