Once the user leaves th Special Diets Directory server, we lose control of how any information is used as this will be governed by the privacy policy of the destination site. All postings, messages, advertisments and website content express the views of the author alone and do not reflect the opinion of Special Diets Directory. However, anyone exhibiting offensive behaviour or language will be found out, taken to task and unceremoniuously ejected. Any complaints will be taken seriously and dealt with appropriately. By agreeing to these terms, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are could be deemed as offensive, obscene, vulgar, sexually, racially or culturally oriented, hateful, threatening, prejudiced or otherwise violative of any laws or human rights. Information and content on the site All information on www.specialdietsdirectory including text relating to medical conditions and diet types has been extensively researched from reliable sources but is given as a guide only and should not be used or taken as a substitute for a consultation from an appropriately qualified practioner or as a definitve resource. All information is kept as up to date as possible but the owners and staff of Special Diets Directory will not accept responsibility for any changes, updates, inconsistancies or inaccuracies of any content anywhere on the site. Product Information All product information, including list of ingredents, is provided by the producer/supplier. Special Diets Directory acts as a marketing agent for producers who create and edit their own webpages - Special Diets Directory publishes the given product information in good faith and although content is moderated periodically, Special Diets Directory cannot be resonsible for content nor the accuracy thereof. We also do not analyse or test the products. That said, most producers are monitored and regulated by the relevant bodies and details of their memberships and accreditations will be displayed on their listing or webpage or on their own website. Ensuring validity of membership and claims of membership is the responsibility of the buyer as it is not viable for Special Diets Directory to run daily checks on all our advertisers. However if we should become aware of any misrepresentation or have any reason to question any area of production, the product(s) in question will be withdrawn from the site and only re-featured if and when we are happy that quality is assured. It is our priority to maintain an ethical honest site and will use our best endeavours to ensure that all content adheres to our values. Advertisers rely on their reputation and our screening process will filter any advertiser we consider inappropriate or out of line with our policies. Food hygene is the utmost priority to our producers and is their sole responsiblity. They are subject to all the normal inspections and in fact are monitored by the relevant bodies at their premises plus at each event such as Farmers Markets and Food Shows and Exhibitions and are normally required to carry appropriate insurance against public liability and professional indemnity,however Special Diets Directory cannot be responsible for validity of any insurance cover or claims of such cover. . In the very unlikely event that you should have any concerns, they should be addressed to the supplier directly. Any such concerns should also be conveyed to us for information only and to monitor. Any purchases and agreements are between vendor and buyer directly and there can be no contract with Special Diets Directory in this regard. . Buying Products via the Special Diets Directory website Most of the Products on the Special Diets Directory site cannot be purchased via this site though there may be some selected products available for sale from time to time. The above conditions apply to any products purchased directly through www.specialdietsdirectory.co.uk site with the only contractural agreement between the purchaser and Special Diets Directory being that of agent between said purchaser and the seller and forwarding of payment to supplier. A list of stockists and/or methods of ordering online or by mail will normally be included by the supplier on their webpage Postage & Packing Each producer will use their own tried and tested packaging and delivery methods to compliment the product. Postage method details will be shown under each product Any postal charge information will also be shown under each product. Multiple items from the same producer will sometimes affect any postal costs shown (if postage not included) , so please contact us at the time to check. Many existing customers save and minimise delivery and postage charges by 'grouping' -combining orders with friends and other family members (remember these products have universal appeal, they are not just for special diets!) Delivery Due to the diversity and unique qualities of the products we offer and for ultimate freshness and speed of delivery the individual producers will despatch their element of the order directly to your home (or address of your choice). Every effort will be made to ensure orders are processed and despatched within 3 working days of cleared payment (subject to availablity) wherever possible. If an item is not in stock or there is likely to be a delay (such as to prepare a special order etc.) you will be contacted within 3 working days with an estimated delivery date or to discuss alternative options. We know you will be impatient to receive your goodies but this is not often mass production -the best things in life are sometimes worth the wait! If you wish your order to be despatched by a method other than producers standard carriage and you have any special requests regarding delivery (e.g; you want it left with neighbour/ in shed etc) please advise us at the time of ordering. They will do their best to accommodate your preferences but cannot take responsibilty for undeliverable orders or delivery problems resulting from deviation from the the standard procedure. Please bear in mind that most postal & courier services will need a signature and that any perishable produce will need to be refridgerated or frozen as soon as it is received. Please ensure that you can do this as we cannot be held liable for undeliverable orders or deterioration from delayed refridgation/freezing. If you are concerned regarding the whereabouts of an order please contact the provider/producer immediately so that they can investigate it. Payments Great News! As well as only having to make one order, you only need to make one payment too! We can accept the following forms of payment: Cheque/Postal Order/Bankers Draft Direct bank payment (bank details will be given at the check out or please contact us for orders not processed via the checkout) Credit/debit card - via Paypal Refunds Policy Quality of produce and service are high priority to us and our producers, but we appreciate that in the real world things can sometimes go awry. Our providers are human beings and will do their utmost to resolve any issues empathetically and quickly. With this in mind, queries and concerns will be dealt with on an individual basis but for this to work we need you to note the following. Due to the perishable nature of manyof the products, any concerns must be communicated immediately to the provider directly (not Special Diets Directory) or within 1 day of receiving your order at the latest - preferably by phone - (bear in mind communications by fax/email may not be picked up straight away). The individual producers will normally also include their contact details in you order (as well as on this site and their own website if they have one) so if it is urgent or want to request a speedy replacement please ensure that you contact them promptly. Any refunds will normally be as per the original method of payment (e.g; Paypal payments will be refunded via Paypal etc) but we appreciate that there are situations whereby other methods are beneficial and the providers and specialdietsdirectory.co.uk will apply a flexible approach. Please also see Delivery section How To Shop On The www.specaildietsdirectory.co.uk Web Site Adding items to your shopping cart As you browse the product range, you can place items in the shopping cart by clicking on the 'Add To Order' links. Item quantities can be adjusted in the checkout before you submit your payment. Continue shopping After placing items in the cart you will be shown the checkout summary page where you can choose the 'Continue Shopping' button to browse some more. Review shopping cart At any time, you can click the 'Review Shopping Cart' link, found at the top of every page, to see what you have ordered so far. Recalculate Once you have made your final selections, in the checkout summary, you can alter the quantities of any items by changing the number in the 'Quantity' box beside the chosen product(s). To cancel an item, set the quantity to zero. You must then click on 'Recalculate' and the page will reload with your changes. Go to payments When you are ready to place your order, click on the 'Go To Payments' button so we can collect your name and address and take your payment.
