It's not just food that you have to watch if you are on a special diet -it's very easy for drinks ingredients to catch you out!
As ever..zzz.. take time to read the labels. Look out for especially for sugar , wheat, gluten, dairy, lactose and sodium content and also the levels if you are on a low salt or low sugar medical or weight loss diet.
Citrus, grape and sulphite intolerances are easy to miss with symptoms often attributed to something else but they are not uncommon so listen to your body if it reacts to fruit juices or (moderate!) intake of wine .
That said there are still gallons of safe choices to relax with and enjoy. Suphite free wine and gluten free beers and organic versions make for a good time so give them a shot! Dairy free shakes & smoothies although available are not yet mainstream but we are trying to get the point accross! Keep an open mind with soya alternatives too as many who are sensitive to dairy also find soya hard to tolerate so rice or oat versions may be a good backup.
