Description
As a Devon based butcher we are dedicated to supporting our region´s farmers. Passionate about the quality of the meat we sell, all our beef is free range and grass fed. Free range pork is used for all cuts including our excellent sausages.

What we sell:

As well as standard meat and sausages you can buy from us:

Gluten free sausages                     £4.10 per 450g pack
Low salt/no e numbers sausages   £3.59 per 450g pack
Low fat sausages                           £3.40 per 450g pack

Other flavours of gluten free or low salt sausages can be made to order e.g chicken and herb, chicken and garlic, but usually require a minimum 5kg quantity. Please call us for details.

Meat is packed to your requirements and despatched frozen to ensure freshness. P&P £5.00 to UK addresses.

You can buy all our standard meat from our own online shop or go to the Big Barn Marketplace (follow the link above) here you can buy our special diets options - gluten free, low salt/no E number and low fat sausages on line.

If you prefer please call us for mail order so that we can supply your exact requirements or make up a meat hamper for you.

Also call if you are interested in halal meat or would like to order and collect from one of our shops in Chard, Axminster and Honiton.

The details:

Gluten Free sausages - made with prime free range pork and seasoning - no fillers or bulking agents added

Low salt/no E number sausages - made with the same free range pork and wheat rusk, but with only little salt and no E numbers. These sausages were designed for a Food Links, a Dorset based school meals provider and we also sell them to hospitals where patients require low salt food.
The lack of E-numbers means these sausages must be treated like fresh meat and eaten that within 1 day of defrosting.

Low Fat - made with extra lean pork shoulder from free range pork. Ideal for those watching their fat in take or on a low cholestrol diet.

Halal meat - a full range of meat and sausages - call us to check availability
